for the preliminary interview: 2 L7 L' x0 u4 v; ^/ m & x2 R# j$ c1 ethere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......( w0 ~1 y2 f3 a8 O o& T' \# i; ]" | - L/ B! |+ W% p; Vfor the extended interview:" K* [% O( M' E: `5 }6 K& M/ ]
7 C6 X7 M; p3 m" G1 [it's divided into 2 sections,7 ]8 L5 c1 _* M+ \+ k# }( X+ L& [% j
1 is impromptu talk / L2 w/ |# Z B/ nanother is group discusion9 w" W1 I. E1 b% b- r3 v
# Y+ a) W" }6 x$ p. O, f4 C/ ~all conducted in english v) ^4 k& ~7 _3 o% n- l* P: ^3 z" A9 ]; J, ^
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare [: p$ T: X- v8 } C; R7 ]( f: @' T! P6 p* `
topic like "environment, biscuit...." , A2 O" k8 U1 l 5 t5 H" {8 H6 u4 Egroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion1 ^) N! Z* g. m2 N o6 }1 l9 m' y; n# i
