Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.5 m3 s! r' k9 W/ d
! E" _! {; {8 DPeople feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:
+ k; J4 ^) m( q( t' l! Ea) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long& N" F4 f. |9 l! I$ Z o6 N
b) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.0 w) F0 n6 Q$ p4 r, {& Z1 G
c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.$ w5 ^6 Q3 C) u% H# i

Just another thought on lonliness:
( D8 |0 r! v0 X/ O: t6 ~( GLonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
