People feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:

b) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.; Q5 p2 K" ?4 E# j4 M! y& o. y
c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.6 q% }2 _% i2 Q( ^

5 K3 f6 b9 c+ E+ Z LLonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
