Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.2 H3 z: _3 P8 {$ G
6 U5 i2 ^! A1 E( dPeople feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:% r* L4 X( ]6 [! _2 Q! _
a) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long
$ y$ i2 G; M) `5 B3 \b) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.
7 ]. {) S+ J0 R& n* Z) Zc) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

Lonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
