Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.

People feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:+ c9 D7 o% d: {$ C8 R
a) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long
3 z: j3 C* V$ Sb) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.
2 v- w1 T/ m4 A0 h9 }c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

Just another thought on lonliness:
" T1 n% ]5 t0 ?Lonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
