Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.8 c1 G9 B% `5 n5 ~

People feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:; M6 ^6 v7 b+ t. A0 s
a) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long
, b3 b+ Q$ ~. U) ?3 N5 Y* ib) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.6 t7 a' {% h: A5 R9 s1 A5 ]+ u+ }
c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

2 J' d( N) }, x- jLonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
