Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own." e, C" {$ @) w3 i. O* f
5 A4 j/ X& U9 L# ^$ DPeople feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:$ q/ Z y4 H; b$ R5 j. M% _
a) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long
) r" S; _' z4 {+ k1 `$ g# \b) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.
8 E$ O$ h$ z+ a4 H2 M. ec) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.4 q! ], C& x" q! A

Just another thought on lonliness:
0 P* h0 S" ^( m& |& dLonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
