People feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:, Y/ {: l( I, H- _" ?
a) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long* U( u% |3 k6 K' Q$ T
b) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.& t/ D i) j) e" s
c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

Just another thought on lonliness:& q) R3 T/ R7 B
Lonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
