Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own. r& u: R6 W$ y& k. [8 c
7 P k" t- N; ~- K+ wPeople feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:
% B; ^, q: N( @a) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long0 G: m' h: Z7 |( v7 v
b) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.3 k9 E, k. [- C2 P4 b' {0 V5 Z5 z- _
c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

% W: k0 F% f- |( u4 }Lonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
